Quantitative Seismic Interpretation (QSI) integrates the rock physics analysis with amplitude analysis, stratigraphic or sedimentology information, and stochastic techniques to predict the reservoir properties. The QSI method provides a better reservoir prediction physical understanding both in the field development and exploration stages.

The upcoming QSI course, among other things, would cover topics such as rock physics foundation, seismic forward modeling, post-processing conditioning, AVO analysis, seismic inversion methods, and rock physics-based property estimation.
